Renovation and expansion of a municipal monument

Renovation and expansion of a municipal monument at the Bleekersvaartweg in Heemstede, consisting of a house from 1896 and a former stable from 1660. Central in the large house is a vide in which staircases and bridges connecting the different floor levels with each other. The vide with skylights in top of the sloping roof brings light deep in the heart of the home. A new transparent extention creates a relationship between the interior of the home and garden.
